Important Safety Instructions
1. READ INSTRUCTIONS
All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the appliance is operated.
9. HEAT
Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
2. RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS
The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
10. CLEANING
The appliance should be cleaned only with dry cloth.
3. HEED WARNINGS
All warning on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
11. POWER SOURCES
The appliance should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.
4. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
All operating and use instructions should be followed.
12. POWER CORD PROTECTION
Power-supply cord should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, playing particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.
5. WATER AND MOISTURE
The appliance should not be used near water  for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, etc.
6. CARTS AND STANDS
The appliance should be used only with a cart or stand that is recommended by the manufacturer. 6A. An appliance and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the appliance and cart combination to overturn.
13. POLARIZED PLUG
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or groundingtype plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. When the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
14. UNPLUG POWER CORD
Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
7. WALL OR CEILING MOUNTING
This equipment is not designed for use mounted on a wall or a ceiling.
15. OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY
No object filled with liquids, such as vases, etc. shall be placed on the apparatus.
8. VENTILATION
The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, the appliance should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug, or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings, or places in a built-in installation, such as bookcase or cabinet that may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings. At least 30 cm free space around the unit for normal ventilation is required.
16. ACCESSORIES
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
17. SERVICING
The user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that described in the operating instructions. All other servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.
18. DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE
The appliance should be serviced by qualified service personnel when: a) The power-supply cord or the plug has been damaged; or b) Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled into the appliance; or c) The appliance has been exposed to rain; or d) The appliance does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance; or e) The appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure is damaged.

Introduzione
Grazie per avere scelto gli altoparlanti di riferimento attivi M-Audio® Studiophile® DSM2. Nella presente guida vengono fornite le istruzioni per l'installazione e l'utilizzo dell'altoparlante M-Audio DSM2. Tutti gli altoparlanti DSM2 sono caratterizzati da elementi di design di fascia alta e da una circuiteria di controllo di precisione. Garantiscono un'accuratezza tonale, una chiarezza e una gamma dinamica eccezionali in un'ampia gamma di applicazioni.

Amplificatori
Gli altoparlanti DSM2 M-Audio sono dotati di amplificatori incorporati. Biamplificazione I driver HF e LF DSM2 sono alimentati in modo indipendente da due amplificatori di potenza interni a bassa distorsione distinti. Design della classe D Gli amplificatori della classe D DSM2 combinano l'efficienza e le dimensioni di un amplificatore digitale con la precisione, il controllo e la qualità audio dell'amplificazione lineare.

Ingressi
Gli altoparlanti DSM2 di M-Audio sono dotati di ingressi analogici o digitali. Per selezionare il tipo di ingresso desiderato, utilizzare l'interruttore per la selezione dell'ingresso situato sul pannello posteriore dell'altoparlante. Per ogni tipo di ingresso sono disponibili due connettori. Ingressi analogici Il segnale di ingresso analogico viene campionato in ingresso e viene elaborato digitalmente fino a quando non raggiunge la fase di amplificazione di potenza Gli ingressi analogici disponibili includono i connettori XLR e TRS da 1/4 di pollice bilanciati. Questi ingressi vengono sommati in modo che sia possibile utilizzare contemporaneamente entrambi i connettori di ingresso. Ingressi digitali Gli ingressi digitali rilevano automaticamente la frequenza di campionamento e la risoluzione in bit in ingresso e accettano segnali con valori fino a 192 kHz/24 bit. Gli in ...
